Mint

It is one of the easiest herbs to grow. I bought a mint plant in April from Trader Joe’s grocery store. I transferred it to a small pot and placed it in my patio. It has being growing well.

Basil

I bought a Basil plant in April month from Trader Joe’s, but didn’t realize that the plant was not very healthy. I kept it ourside in my patio and the plant couldn’t survive the cold. I brought it inside after few days but probably it was late.

I tried to grow roots from a Basil stem by putting it in water for few weeks, but there was no root.

July 21 - bought basil plant

Planted it in 3 pots: 1. Carrot container 2. Lettuce container 3. Separate pot with just basil plant.

2018

I tried to grow herbs from seeds in my apartment in Seattle. I wasn’t successful at growing then. Here are couple of pictures I have from that time:
